I might not have told you thia but
This year I Deejayed at BHS's field day.
I played a few sports standards like the rocky theme and the Chariots of fire.I also played dance classics,Classic rock and snuck in some reggae and ska!
The kids and stuff liked it. I saw kids dancing and a few parents bebopping during lunch when I put on an oldies mix.
As hard as it is lifting and moving my gear is Its all worth it when I know the people were happy and spirits and moral were lifted.

The Vinyl resurgeance will it last?
In the last few years there has been a resurgence in the popularity of vinyl records. Its mostly young kids. That's cool
What not cool is that most new records go for $20.00 and up. I even went into and antique shop where they were trying to sell albums for $ 10.00 and up.
In the 1980s records were $5.00 and CDs were $16.00 and I didn't think Id convert but I did.
I never thought Id see the day where CDs were more affordable than records!
I think the music industry is taking advantage of vinyl's resurgence and making new fans pay for it.
Will this backfire and have people buying CDs again?

As many of you know lately I've been deep into world music.
On the next mix I plan to return to more of my Rockin roots!
but for now..
Yeah you know how I roll!

Happy Mothers Day
Today on my bike ride I went to the beach expecting to get a cool beach video but instead there was fog. On land it was clear and I shot this picture of a beautiful garden!
on the way home I saw something amazing.
There were a family of geese hanging out near my house. Not only did I get this picture but I got some video footage too! They went on their way and the father goose kept his eyes on me as if to say.I'm watching you!"
I didn't move and if I did it was slowly!
I've never been attack by a goose nor do I want to do anything to provoke one! They're Gods creatures too!
