Funky Boogie Woogie

the other night I did a response to a fellow Youtubers contest. That and a few other videos got my creative engines started. I got a Apple download card and 2 nights ago inspiration hit me like a ton of bricks.
here's the result

                         I tried to stay free of the Reggae but I just couldn't and not that I'm tired of of but others might be.. I tried to add more soul and classic rock here and yeah I got a lil loungy too!

full Moon Fever

last night was a lunar eclipse. I was hoping to see the whole thing but it was cloudy so I was only able to get one decent shot and that was good enough for me.

so fall is here and with it comes new opportunities to photograph cool things with my Nikon

Trish's weekend report Part 2

Last night night there was a Crescent moon. There were many shots taken before this but I finally got it right. it wasn't easy without a tripod.
 so today was the Board swap at the beach house and here are a few pictures of that!

From what I observed I believe it was a good day for many!
 I found myself going to the Beach ..AGAIN!

After all that Video taking and picture taking it gets the old sweet teeth in a mood and there's one good way to take care of that...

Yup! a Trip to The Dune Grass Café for cookie Dough Ice Cream!

Trish's reekend report Pt 1

This weekend was a busy one
Lets start out with Saturday!

I stopped at Mueller's Bakery
 and while I was having my Coffee I got these shots of this little bird eating some crumbs!
Then of was off the the annual vintage Boat and car show held at John Brothers Boat yard!

I stooped by the Beach House afterwards for a chat and notice this flowe which was most likely on the end of it life before fall but still holding up well!

At one point Dereck was in the back talking to a customer and I noticed this one really cool board hanging from the ceiling and Inspiration kicked in and out came the Nikon!

Being it was a beautiful day I had to swing by the Beach!

People were swimming, sunbathing and sailing!

Another cool Day of photography

Today I went to the beach to see if I could captures some cool photos and it was a great afternoon for photography!

She looks like a pit bull but this dogs Mom says she's an English Bulldog!

One of my fellow photographer friends told be I should always take my camera with me when I go out. Its not always possible but today I'm glad I did.
I spotted this automotive coolness in my travels today

sometimes I'll include two shots and you can decide which one you like best!

Heres to the futures

Heres my new mix.
Its inspired by the Dr Who Soundtrack I got from the library the other day. This mix has from few tracks from that plus a few weird and obscure tunes,plus a few oldies but goodies and Reggae tunes!

the summer 2015 report

Summer 2015 was good for me
I returned to the BHIA as a badge checker. I saw a few old friends and made a few new ones.
 I Deejayed at The Beach House classic Movie night and Also at the Bay Head Fire House clambake.
            This summer My Sony camera died from an accidental death and was replaced by a Nikon.
The Nikon takes great pictures. I've even had professional photographers compliment me on my photography!
My first really cool picture was of the moon thanks to a youtube viewer who emailed me and gave me instructions on how to get up the autofocus!
Yesterday was my last gig of the summer which was at a kickball tournament at the school which was cut short when lightning and thunder came. but my boss said everyone enjoyed the music.
