 Yesterday was a good day for photography.

Crocuses and Dafidils are coming up which is a sure sign of spring

I got a few good shots of a few birds including  a few Robin red breasts!
For those of you getting Started in photography I recomment the Canon SX 720 HS. I've been into digital photography for a few years now but I feel like I'm really getting to hang of it.

I was going to order a CD from oldies.com of of surf tunes but then the light in my head went on. I recently found an itunes card one of my coworkers gave me for Christmas. Lets see If I can find some of these songs on there first.
  My Fellow Youtuber and Reggae guru Doug posted a track by Afro beat artist Joe Mensah and I liked what I heard so I'm going to look him up on itunes too!

Bird shots

As I left work today I planned a nice bike ride! Upon arriving home I brought in the mail and got changed.
I was warmer than yesterday So I was hoping to get a cool shots or ducks or birds. I didnt have lunch so I stopped my a nearby pizza shop for a slice. On route to the pizza shop I saw a robin redbreast. someones from yard and calmy pulled out the camera

First I got this shot and zoomed in more

When I when to get pizza I got 2 slices because I was so chuffed getting this shot!

On the way home I stopped by a a nearby lake but the ducks wer too far ou to get a good shot but I did spot a crows in a nearby tree and so out came the camera again!

Music Review The Rippingtons KilimanJaro

A few Years ago I checked out a band called The Rippingtons in the Jazz section at the library. I liked them
Kilimanjara is a laid back smoothnes to it that you can listen to after a busy hectic day. Its smooth jazz that has a calming effect with that elevator music feel.
This gets two thums up from me.

Back to the Beach 2019

As I left work today I heard the Birds singing and chirping the way you hear them in spring! There was a wind but it didn't have that arctic nip that I'm used to!
  The sun was shining bright and that mean one thing. Its a day for a bike ride! no doubt about it.
When I got home I got into my jeans t shirt and put on my red Beatles hoodie,Grabbed my keys,wallet and camera and put them in my hip pack and off I went.
The first shop..Bay Head Beach.
Here are a few shots I took there

After the Beach I stopped at Twilight lake to see what I could see there. The wind from the north was stronger so I didn't stay long but I did see a big mama of the seagull on the nearby dock.

Around this time it occured to me I haven't eaten yet so I stopped at MonAlyssa's for a slice of Pizza! The trip over the Loveland town bridge was windy too say I walked over it. There were some xeazy gusts of wind but I'm glad I ventured out!

Last spring out for a bike ride and got this fella just hanging out on someones from lawn!

I was pretty lucky last summer and fall with wildlife photography. I hope I get good shots again this year

A surprise in the mail

The other day I received a surprise in the mail. My heads was still spinning from a busy work day.
     I didn't recognize the address and was so curious about it. It was from Scotland! Who do I know from Scotland I thought.
   His Name is Danny and he found me from a Mix group that is now shout down. He included his email address so I emailed to tell him I received it and that I would be sending him one back. Its so cool when like minded Fellow mix makers go Out of they're way to send you a mix. International postage isn't cheap either!

I'll enclude a few stickers too  as an added bonus!

Why I'm coming back and what I'll be doing here

 So A few weeks ago I went to post some photos On wordpress and I reached the limit of posting picture and if I want to post more I need to upgrade. Yes I need to pay to get more space added.
I can't do that at this time so Yes you my blogger audience will be enjoying photos.
 I welcome comments and hope you enjoy what you see.
OK now to bring you up to spped. In November I bought a new Nikon SX720 HS which has a 40x zoom and today our tech Queen Maria let my take a few photos with a Rebel. Now that is  a camera. It has a 50x zoom. I can only dream about the shot I'd get with that. For now I must enjoy my SX 720 and work on my photography skills.
