I have DJing for 15 years, 7 years on my own.
Lat night I was playing at the BHFD annual dinner and 10 minutes into the gig my power supply cord decides to crap out on me.
At first we thought it was the circuit breaker but the speaker and disco balls were working but it turns out to be the cord..
I was bummed. I felt like such a failure.
I was able to stay and join my friends for dinner and there was a duet there who I'm sure enjoyed the extra time. Chip kept assuring me I was ok.
I hope to get a new power cord this week.
The good news is I have mailed out 10 Christmas mixes and hope to mail out more this week!
