Thumbs up for Trombone Shorty

I went to the library today to pick up 2 CDs I had on hold. I glanced over at the discarded CD section they have and asked if there were any new additions.
Yes Virginia replied but its mostly classical.
Curious I thumbs through them and came across this cd called trombone shorty
Whos Trombone Shorty I wondered out oud
 Another patron replied' its new Orleans jazz.'
When I think of new Orleans jazz Al Hirt and The Great Satchmo come to mind.
Trombone Shorty has a taste of Chicago and Earth Wind and Fire in it.
a great Horn section with a touch of funk.

If that's what you dig THIS is a CD you should have in your collection.
