Hello folks Its been a while since I've written a straight out blog.Once again Davy Jones day was a great sunny day.The night before I had my doubts mother nature would cooperate BUT Saturday Morning I saw the sun and blue sky and man was I happy. This Saturday im DJing a 50th Anniversary party.So psyched about that.I think there will be 200 people there!Im sure I'll get a few folks dancin. Im not sure when I'll be spinning at Movie night yet but I'll Keep you posted.There maybe a short dry spell after the 50th Anniversary Party or perhaps I'll get a few more gigs.We shall see! Things are gettingbusy at work as we prepare to end another year at BHS.The 8th grade and kindergarden are Practicing for the the promotion ceremonies. Before I know it i'll be returning to my post at the BHIA.It won't be the same without the Zuvers there.Mr Zuver died and Mrs is living in Florida.The dune grass behind there house is high in Parts of the yard.Keeping folks off the dunes without the fence there will be stepped up! I visited my friends at public works today and they are busy! Im going to take a little break from posting stuff on youtube and pay attention to this here blog.Really.I've been neglecting you guys. Today I mailed out 6 packages containing what else..CD mixes!Speaking a mixes the Admin at Zenrunning order is closing down the sight.He is overwhelmed with spam and junkmail and stuff of that sort!I hope to maintain contact with most if not all the fine friends I made there. Im still active with the IMP and the Cool Grooves mix Exchange(My own little mix trade group!) OK so Happy Summer Everyone! Peace,Love and Music Trish Cheers!

Hi folks Im long overdue for posting just a general newsy,random thoughts blog.OK so my weekends are full from next week till September Yes Next week I'll be spinning at Davy Jones day.My 12 year yes 12 years! The 9th Im spinning at a 50th Anniversary Party.VERY stoked about that.the couple was impressed with my music I played at Tom and Bettylou's event. the 16ths is the beach opening.I'll be back at the post checking badges.I did a video shoot of my unmanned eh i mean i womaned post.This is my last free weekend till labor day.Not complaining just stating the facts. summer is here.Ill post the video shoot here soon. I have to ween myself off youtube before the summer starts.I'll still post vids but not too often as i have been! The last thing my views want to see is a a sweaty middle aged woman cover in sunscreen.yuck, greazy! In other music news I'll signed up for another mix exchange which will make 3 including my own.I can handle it! Sad news though,Zenrunningorder.com will be shutting down.The webmaster is overwhelmed by spam and trojans. I've maede so many like minded friends there and hope we keep in touch! I hope to catch up with blogs heres and leave comments! I'll be back.....

Bay Head Beach

End of Summer report Part 1

Wow just a few more days till summmer.It was a good one.Movie and music nights at the beach House,The Clam Bake & The Mankoloking Yacht club were the Hightlights musically.I couldn't do it without the help of the Following"Chip and Joyce,George Nicholas,my friends at the Beach House and Kay Tell!Thank you for your love and support.
Thankfully all my patrons at the beach were back this year safe and Sound.I am sad this summer is ending but I look forward to next summer.
My coworkers at the BHIA.Awesome.truly awesome.The wind killed 3 of my umbrellas this year.Doh!My platform escaped serious damage from Irene.Phew.
Sundays at Joyces and Chips were excellant.
I discovered 2 new places to eat and I missed Going to Rockin Joes but more frequent visits there will resume soon.
A new fridge was another adventure.
My Mix exchange group has a few new members and my love of making mixes is still alive.Friends and family continue to turn me on to new bands and I finally beleive I have all the music I want in my itunes player including christmas tunes.speaking of which this years theme will be "A swingy jazzy Christmas "Dont worry I'll wait at least till Novenber to post the playlist.
OK its a work night.Time for bed.

Things returned to normal today at the BHIA.My entranceway escaped intacted with esception to the snowfence.We were red flag until around 3pm when we went yellow.
Hopefully tomorrow will be green.
3 days of produced yet another mix.The other day I went to atomic CDs and bought a few more CDs.I was gathering some items to return to the Library when I came accross I CD I almost forgot I had

Yesterday our day at the beach was ended an hour early because of an approaching thunder storm.
As I pulled into Bridge Ave,One of our lifeguards took my radio and told me to rock n roll.In other words hit the road kid the storms coming.
Its amazing how fast my feet can peddle when a storms approaching.I was just approaching Bay Ave when I saw a big bolt of lightning over the bay,followed by a loud thunder.
I wasn't taking chances.I pulled into Bay Point Market to wait it out!Theres a fine line between faith and stupidity.The benefits of waiting it out.Drying off,avoiding getting hit my lightning and a cup of coffee!
Common sense..I love you!
When I got home I was a wet rat covered in sunscreen.Yuck.Time for a shower.
After my shower and a set of dry clothes I had some dinner and a glass of wine!

the doors close on another school year and open for another beach season

Today was the last day of school.On my way home I realised the year ended on a happier note.Last year we were all worried about our jobs and the future of our school, but this year our budget passed,that plus other factors are a contribution to higher moral and lower stress levels.
This past wednesday we had what is called walking wednesday.Staff and students meet in Bay Heads Municipal Parking lot and then walk to the school.I was happy to be a part of it and proud of how many showed up.That alone I beleive is a show of force in school spirit and community spirit too.
So another beach season Starts tomorrow.
After this afternoons meeting I went to Monalyssas for a slice of pizza and a pepsi.Afterwords I went to Tyler and Joans to say hello and get a copy of Tylers CD of praise tunes for a $10.00 donation thats goes to first Baptist Church.
