the beautiful reflection of the sun on the ocean and a great enjoying the morning aand getting the day off to a beautul start!

         



This is a photo of me and one of my greatest patrons name Jill. From the look on her face you might think she is living the dream. She has a great supportive and loving husband named Joe and 2 wonderful Daughters. She Also has Cancer!
She does not feel sorry for herself or cry the blues,she Just takes each day and enjoys it and lives it to the fullest.
she is so awesome!

             Summer goes by so fast but these are beautiful scenes   I love and apreciate seeing 5 days a week in the summer. meeting great people and working on the beach.!
 Sure there are days we deal with greanhead flies and    90+ degree days but off deep woods and staying hydrated gets me through it !

  One day when I came home from work I saw this fella in the hot tub and by the time I gut the camera he got out and I got this shot before he flew off!

Gigs schedule for August 2016

Hi Folks heres my DJ gig schedule
Aug 12 at the Beach House surf movie night
from 7pm till 10pm
I'll be playing from fun surf and reggae tunes before the movie and a lil bit after depending on the length of the Movie.
the Beach House is located at 517 Main Ave in Bay Head
this event is free. Please bring a beach chair or a towel to sit on!

Aug 20 -The Clam Bake at the Bay Head Fire House
 The biggest and best gathering of the summer in Bay head
All proceed go to benefit the raining  and upkeep of the fire company!
there will be food ,Beer,Soda,a raffle,firetruck rides and music by The Sherman brothers Band and DJ Trish!
The fun starts at 12 noon and ends at 5 pm sharp.

shots and stories of the day

I woke up today about 10am.Thats early for a day off but there was a list of things I wanted to do
1 Get a stack of pancakes at the Dunegrass Cafe

Done.They were good and filling! Afterwards I got my paycheck ,put some money in the bank and some for me and then went to the library to pick up some CDs I had on hold!
afterwors I headed to downtown Point Beach. I wanted to get more CDrs and jewel cases.
in my travel I saw this outside an antique shop

Its an oldie but goody and looks to be in good shape too!
I got my CDrs and cases and stopped at Hoffmans on the way home. There were other stops I wanted to make but the sky was looking grey to the north so I went home afterwords!

finding an old mix

Last night I found this old mix and if memory serves me right in was made around around 2009. Summer was the theme here but I squeezed in a few old faves here too. I'm listening to it as I type this.
 Lots of soul and reggae here and yeah I slipped in some oddball stuff like weird Al for a few laughs!
Some classic mix enders like Ray Charles and the Beatles too!

just another day at the beach

smell the salt air
Hear the crashing of the waves
hear the seagulls in flight
feel the warm sun on your face
yes its a crazy world out there but for now its just another day at the beach
take it in and enjoy!

wow what a sunset

As most of you know I enjoy a good sunset. Yesterdays sunset was spectacular. I felt a little down yesterday but seeing this sunset lifted my spirits!

Another awesome sight was My friend s Joyce and Chips garden.  Chip truly has a green thumb!

 In other news There will be there first Surf movie night of the summer next week at the beach house and I will be resuming my DJ duties!
