Sure enough after I logged off last night we did indeed get a little thunder lightning and rain.It was getting late anyway so I called it quits on the computer and went to bed.
Today went well for a Monday.busy but well!
After work I took an hour Power nap and then headed out for a bikeride.My first stop was the post office.I mailed out 10 envelopes fulled with copies of super bad Jams to friends and a few family members.I reserved to copies for the girls at Cafe De Point which I delived and had a large coffee while Chatting with Brea,the owner.
my next stop was Rite aid where I bought some ink cartridges.The colors are starting to fade.
Im sure another refill will happen before Christmas.Being I was in that area I might as well get it while time and finances permit.
Traffic was calmer then it was the the summer but folks still barely look at you when they are rolling their carts into the street so extra caution is taken..YOU must slow down for them because THEY won't slow down for you.
On the way home I got the urge for half a sub so I went to Vasuvios and got half of a ham and chees sub and ate it at home while the ipod played. As I type this there is a nice sunset.hmm perhaps a nice cup of tea on the porch is in order.Then it time on the Piano,cleaning the roon and perhaps a few emails,then a shower and bed.in that order!

rumble rumble for real
Today my Felt bad .its a woman thing I know.I took 2 Motrin and slept till 2pm.MyPlans for the day were scrapped untill 4ish when I started feeling well again.I went to get Jewel Cases at Rite aid.The sky was looking grey.
On the way home I heard thunder.My plans to stop by Cafe de Point would have to wait for another day.I saw people In the community park and some looked like they were headed out and others were walking ,etc.
I was a block from the house when I thought I saw a flash of lightning and picked up the pace of the pedeling.
As I pulled in the driveway it seemed like the thunder was louder and thanked God for getting me home safe as I pushed my bike in the garage.
When I was eating dinner a big bolt of lighting flash and the sky opened up.
It seemed like the storm lasted an hour.As much as I hot lightining storms we need a good rain to lesson the threat of a drought.
We lost power for five minuted so I had to reset my alarm clock after the storm passed.
I waited till after the lightning stopped till I rebooted the computer.

A Beautiful Monday
The sounds of spring.
Birds singing Children playing and the call of seagulls.The sky was a pefect blue,Our garden in in good shape thank to Nancy and the lawn and porch is ready for outdoor enjoyment Thanks to both Nancy and Dan!
Today I went for a very enjoyable bikeride after work.I had a few things to get.Claritan D topped my list.I love this time of the year but the only hard part is the allergies.
I worked on the newsletter last night,copied it today at our local library and will mail it out tomorrow after work.
I also mailed out a few mixes and will start emailing mix club members to tell them who their lucky mix partner is.
This time of the year I also start to see yard sales.I have a little can of change Im saving for such an occasion.Last year I made out pretty well.Some years I do well with yard sales and other years I don't.
Last years was mostly a success because of Knight and KC.I dont know if I'll have a lucky streak 2 years in a row but only time will tell.
Memorial Day weekend seems to be the popular weekend for yard sales and garage sales!

a beautiful Saturday
When I wa awakened by my alarm today at 8am It was really hard to get up because up was up till 3am burning a few more CDs for friends I knew Id see today.My hairdresser Debby got one bause she won't except tips from me so my tips are mixes.I also gave one to the receptionist.
After my haircut I did head on down the street to Rockin Joes and had a coffee and a bagel.
My next stop was the library,where I picked up a CD and Paid my fine on some CDs I returned late.The North wind slowed me down a tad but that's OK.The next stop was the post office.I sent out some mixes to some Cousins.I think I'm covered as far as mailing out mixes but knowing me I think of a few other and go Oh s--t I have mailed one to this person or that person.
my other stops were social.Applegates,Central Market and the Beach house classic board shop.Im not a surfer but if theres a sport I do enjoy watching surfing is it.It takes real skill and Balance.Surfers are NOT motivated by awards or trophies.Getting a good wave is their reward.
My Final stop was CVS where I finally bought some Claritin D!Spring is here.My days start with sneezing fits and a little gagging but hell its better than shoveling snow.lol!
Now its time for a hour or 2 nap to rest up for a St Patricks Party tonight!

another beauty of a day for bike riding..and walking
Before leaving work today our Computer Tech Wally informed me it was warm and nice and a perfect day for a bike ride.
I did.I took my bike to Pt Pleasant Bicycles to be tuned up and then I took a walk to Sheryl's new shop.Its across the street from Colonial Market.Ive only been in there one but they're nice.Of course Bay Point Market is Tops in my book but Ill consider them If Im not in the mood for riding over the bridge.
The New Special T graphics is bigger and cleaner.Dave,Sheryl's Husband says the landlord is nice and let him do some Painting and other alterations in there.That's something most landlords frown upon.
After I saw Sheryl walked to rite aid and bought a 50 pack of CD rs.They didn't have jewel cases so Ill get some from Ocean County music.
That Parking lot is always full.Super Stop N shop is mostly the reason why.I remember when Jamesway was there.There was also a cute ice cream shop there too!It seamed like traffic was heavier then I expected so I was extra careful.
the bike is like new now.

Another nice bikeride ..with visits to friends
Today after work I went for a bike ride.My first stop was the recycling Center where I dropped of a dozen or so old magazines.Chip and his crew were going about the business of wrapping up the work day.
My next stop was Ocean County Music.It felt good peddling down Bay Ave again.I bought some Jewel cases for my Cd's.Sal was there.He was actually in a talkative mood.I nicknamed him to quiet one.Some folks think hes not that smart because he's shy but Hes actually very smart I think!
My next stop was a 60 second visit to Vinnie at In The Light Photography.He was meeting with customers So I didn't stay long.
My next stop was Thoughtful Treasured where my friend Eloise has a shop.My Last stop was The Grind coffee Shop where I got a blueberry Muffin and a coffee.
I chatted with Debby the owner and eventually Eloise showed up and had a latte.We all sat around and chatted and being it was getting late I headed home before dark but of course I had to stop at Bay Point Market and get some Pennie pasta and a bottle of coke.
Tonight Ill make some mixes and family and friends and mail them off Saturday.
Oh and I must post my latest mix here.Hmm perhaps Tonight.stay tuned!
