Treasures from the past

Up untill Dec I had a volvo that played cassettes but my Suburu Does not have a tape player. In cleaning out the Volvo I found a few mixtapes I have in it

Sometimes I would try to do some artwork to Jazz up up a bit. Maxell 90 minute tapes were my brand of choice and I wrote in all upper case letters figuring it was easier to read. Around this time I really started using the Library to check out new music or artists friend would suggest!

A real piece of telephone history

If you 50 or older you remember this? This is a vintage Ratory dial phone of the late 60 and early 60s. When I was little it seemed like the receiver weighed a ton and I often got my little fingers caught between the phone and the rotary dialer..Ouch! Right after I got it down to a science the touch tone phones came in. A new thing to learn but easier on my little fingers!
