The Bay Head Harvest Festival
this past Saturday was the Bay Head Harvest Festival, There were vendors,food and entertainment by DJ Trish and James Dalton! Here are photos of the day!
My friends children painted a pumpkin and gave it to me!
Later that day the was a small group that did a sunset paddle with canoes and SUPs on twilight lake and I took on landlubber photographer duties!
so afterwards a few of us gathered a Chip and Joyces aka The SDYC and saw the moon rising! It was so cool!
Lfe at the Jersey Shore. Its a beautiful thing!

get down with your bad self
Today the closest thing to what I call real soul is Sharon Jones! Nothing else defines it like artists did in the 1960s and 70s! A few have tried though. I pulled this out and listed to a few tracked and a few made it on to my recent mix! news on that coming soon!

disc drive E
Last week I found out that a few of the recent mixes I send out have skips and flutters in them. That only means one of two things. Somehow get it fixed or give up. A fellow music love suggest I get an external disc drive.
I checked out amazon and the price range was $25-50.00! not bad,I thought.
Yesterday I got a package from amazon in the mail.
Greg AKA POPcrackle.com send me the very one I had my eyes on!
Realizing this I said Holy S--T!
I immadiatly I.Med him on facebook thanting him and told him Santa will get him back.
hooking it up was easy and installing the program only took minutes. Of course I uninstalled the old one first!
It works great!

new gifts in the mail pt 1
today I received 2 nicely sized envelopes in the mail. These are from my fellow friend Doug in Australia
Like me he loves Reggae and Soul and other things but reggae and soul are among his faves! Unlike me he does deep studying on these theses genres and has a wealth of knowledge! We both belong to a group on youtube called the vinyl community. many of us collect other than vinyl but we are accepted by out record loving coolections just the same because its all about the music!
