DJ gig update

Hi folks
This winter was kinda slow as far as DJ gigs go but Im hoping the summer weather will change my luck a bit
 June 8th I will be spinning at BHS from 10 am-2pm
June 15th I will be at the Bay Head fire company
times and more details to follow

 Oh yes a special shout out to my friend DJ Tommy Lynch who will be spinning June 4th at the Car show in Point pleasant Beach

memorial day 2013

I stopped at Muellers Bakery this morning to get a cup of coffee and a crumcake.This is the first time Muellers has been upon since before Hurricane sandy hit.The whole shore is redone and looks great.On the way out I heard a familiar voice calling me,It was my old friend Ellen Parker.
we sat on a bench out side and chatted while enjoying out coffee and crumbcake.
 Afterwards we went to visit her parents who live a block away.
 afterwards I took a bikeride ,picked up a few CDs and took some pictures in my travels!

Music the natural high

Yesterday I Deejay a Cinco De Mayo Party in Manasquan.A  no one was really Dancing but I could tell they liked the music.
I played Reggae,surf tunes and snuck in a few Latin jazz numbers being it was Cinco De Mayo!
After I have a real good DJ gig I get that great natural high.Its a feeling no drug or drink can provide.
 I hope folks were able to listen to the music for forget any negativity in their life if only for a few hours.
There was also a guitarist there named Ryan .we took turns playing and he liked what I played and he did a good job as well.
Thank you also to my friends George and Beth for their love and support.

The Fleet Foxes first CD

a few years ago I heard this song called "Blue Ridge Mountains"it was by a band called the Fleet Foxes.I loved it.The melody,The Voices and the whole song.Months later I found it at the library website and got it.I uploaded my fave tracks to my iTunes.
 I was reminded of it recently and had to get a CD of my own.
I went to CD connection.com and ordered it and it arrived today.I love it!
