heres one for ya Mr Trump

So now that we Know our president is a US citizen we can get on to the next issue. Is Trumps hair real or a wig?
I mean realy do you think if Obama wasnt a citizen he would get this far?I wasnt a big fan in the beginning but was was won over with this inaugural speech! You can tell he and Michelle really love each other.
Perhaps The Donald better clean up Atlantic city BEFORE he thinks about a whole country.Theres still a homes population not far from those big glittery Buildings.
Mr Barack is making progress.Lets give him that!
On another note Bay head and Point Pleasants schools budgets passed. Our kids will continue to be eduacated by caring dedicated teachers!

time to think and reflect

Today I finally got my rear in gear and walked my bike to the bikeshop.Point Pleasant Bicycles is farther then I thought.I passed a pizza place called spanos.I could really go for a slice of pizza right now I thought.I kept on moving and if time was permitting Id grab one in route back.
The repair only took about five minutes so it seemed. While I was waiting another biker came in.he only needed air in his tire. After I got finished paying for my repair he asked the guy what he need and he replied.I just need air and the guy behind the counter said "take a deep breath".I busted out laughing. So other customer did too!
"I'm glad you have a sense of humor".I said.
I kept laughing as I left. There was a chill in the air and a bit of fog rolling in so I was extra careful.
I stopped at spanos and got a nice slice of Sicilian pizza and a regular Snapple. My next stop was the post office where I mailed out 6 packages of mixes.6 people will have new Trish tunes this week.My one mix making friend in Florida lost here mom last week so I sent her 3 mixes.I hope the tunes cheer her up!

this Easter

Today I was a tad late for piano Lessons and I don't think Joan was Happy with that.I did fess up that I was up late burning CD mixes for family and friends and yes I should have gone to bed earlier.eh confession is good for the soul.
With all the bad news shouldnt we Christians step it up in being more patient and forgiving.
My mom gave me a card years ago that went something like this
Lord let me be an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred let me sow love
where there is anger let me sow forgiveness
etc
I cant remember the rest.I beleive its the prayer of st Frances.Heck I cant find the card but its beautiful!Basically it tells us to be kind, forgiving loving and understanding.Oh but heck whos perfect right? Not me!
Each day when I wake up I try my best to be kind, loving, understanding and forgiving. Its not easy though.
I do what I do and hope folks are blessed by it,whether its copying work for teacher, making CD mixes or DJing I do what I can each day to put a smile on one face or make someone laugh.
I don't know what God has in store for me tomorrow but all I can do is my best today.Sometimes I hit the ball out of the park and others days its a home run or a foul ball but the hits keep on coming so I just got to do what I can!
The Bible tell us to lift each other up NOT tear each other down.Jesus said Love one anothers as I love you so must you Love one another.
Lets all remember that.
Have a Happy and blessed Easter!
Peace be with you!
Trish

The String Cheese Incident

My Cousin Molly once suggested A buy a CD from a Band That Ive heard of but dont really know.At first I thought well what if I dont like them its a total waste of Money but then again How many songs do you really like on bands that you do know?
Yesterday was record store day and I went to a local record store that was having a sale and did in fact take the challenge.
After learning earth day was postponed I biked on down to Atomic CDs and looked around,I came acros a CD called the string Cheese incident.I miss the listening booths.
I also picked up a Soundtrack of a surf movies called Sprout.More on that another day!so anyway back to S.C.I
Theres a 42 second intro called Samba Degreeley. Its kind of world music Sounding. then it foes into Come as you are that makes you feel like your in Alabama or somewhere like that. Its an interesting CD.Im glad I took Mollys Challenge!

A fun day

Last night I was going to finish up my spring break mix but Thunder and lightning ruined that plan.Knowing I has to get up real early I waved the white flag and was in bed by 11pm.
Today it was windy but the sun was shining. The Sherman Brothers and Ed Austin were unable to play today so It was Just The Sandwhich Soup Band and me.
I got a few request and lots of good feedback from the event goers.I started out playing some reggae and upbeat oldies and this little voice told me to throw in some jazz.Around 11:30 is I felt it was late enough in the early morning to kick out the jams so I threw in some Kanye,Katy Perry and the like.
The Band started around 1pm so I covered my stuff which the tarp in the event to wind kicked up and so no kids could mess with it.Then I went to fetch some lunch and stretch my legs.
I saw a few folks I knew and Kathy and Knight came by too!I Played the Marble Tea Song its a fantastic day!I wonder it knight heard it.
A few times a big gust of wind would come along and blog the CDs sitting next to the unit off the table. There will be some that need new jewel cases. The traffic on the was home wasnt bad.
When I got home and started Hauling stuff into the house the right wheel on the Hand truck came off.
I had to caryy the stuff by hand.Time to lift weights?

Todays celebration of earth day is resceduled for tomorrow!Yesterday I dragged chips table out to see if it would fit in the back seat and it didnt.I called George and Beth and they were able to provide their services.George arrived ar 8:50 and we packed up his van and headed other only to find out its tomorrow. On the way home we stopped at a quick check and I bought him coffee. He won't take money so its the least I could do!
When I got home and checked my email sure enough there was the email saying todays event was postoned till tomorrow.Jack did say they would have a table for me.Phew! All my roadies will be unavalable tomorrow!Im on my own!
After seeing the email I called the library to see if I had anything there and I did,so I hopped on the bike and headed over.

Its now safe to pack away the snow boots!

I know according to the calender spring started a few weeks ago but I believe spring truly starts behaving like spring around Easter time!I can now pack away my winter boots and coat till November!Yay!
Today was a really beautiful day and a bike ride was surely warranted! In my Travels I bought a small tarp for my DJ Gear to have on hand for outside gigs.
If I bring it with me Saturday will it bring good luck and keep the rain away?
I got an email saying we have to supply our own tables and lucky for me Chip Loaned me one of his.Frank says the school has one with handles but I don't feel comfortable borrowing stuff from the school unless I really need to!
Next week is spring break.I hope for many bike rides and some walks.I found the earphones to my ipod.Yay!
Last night I started my Spring break mix and was hoping to add a few more songs im getting from the library but Monday will be the next chance I'll have to get there.Yes I know Patience, Trish, Patience!
I pray for a few things for Saturday.nice weather, that the tables fits in my car and of course safe travels.Being Frank and Chip are going to be away Im my on my own.I must remember to ask God for strengh and patience.and remember He's in control!

On the way out to the garage I noticed the Garden is started to show signs of life.Buds are even coming up on the little bush I tripped over during a snowy day when I attemped to take a short cut.
Today traffic seemed a bit heavy but I think thats because school was letting out and it was a nice day.

Tomorrow The School is getting a new copier.Half Joking I told the principal if it arrives at 8am give me a call and Ill come in.Am I dedicated or crazy?
