OH MY GAWD!
I HAVE 500 SUBSCRIBERS ON YOUTUBE!
If you are one of those subscribers I am deeply grateful.
I work hard to bring you fun, entertaining, informative and family friendly content.
My camera is currently in the shop being fixed but I hope and pray to get it back soon.
I do miss video blogging aka Vlogs and taking photos.
In my absence however folks are subbing to my channel.

This week is spring break and being without my camera has be lacking in motivation to really go anywhere but I must get out and take my bike rides and powerwalks.

    I'm not lacking motivation to create new mixes though
the wheels are creation are spinning!

 Today I got a call from the Photo Center with the estimate for the repair on my Camera. Its going to take 2-4 weeks depending on when the parts come in. I hope and pray its only 2 weeks.
 I also got a pleasant Surprise at work today. I received the golden apple for the month of April.
I guess you could say its like employee of the month!
 I feel the love. I am so blessed to have such awesome coworkers and a kind understanding Boss. BHS is a great Place to work despite occasion misunderstandings and other crazy stuff that happens at every school.
  OK well I have the next week off. time to get a lil wine and git dis Party Started!

spring has spring

Its been a bit over a week since my camera has been in the shop.
Today we had out staff photos taken at school. I headed to the gym early to see if there was anything I could do to help.
I talked photography to the woman taking the photos. she uses a Nikon and we were saying what good camera Nikons are.
I learned a few things like that the Micro setting is. Of could if I read the owners manual more Id already know what the micro setting is for.
 I look forward to taking photos and making videos again.

Although I have some downtime making videos and taking pictures my creative engine is still going as far as making mixes. I also have a few DJ gigs lined up.

Mid March Random chatter

Last week a friend and I went to the camera shop to drop it off to get fixed. I feel like a lost puppy without my camera but I did make a new mix and once I get the camera back I will post a photo of the playlist.
I do hope to get the camera back before or shortly after spring break!
I did find a new group on G+ and joined it. Its called Nikon photographers and I got a few likes or pluses on the photos I.ve posted thus far.
I had a gig at the firehouse Friday for the end of winter surf movie night and it went well

DJ Trish gig update

For a minute I had a dry spell with my DJ gigs except for the gig at the Brick VFW. I am very thankful for that one and it made me want more.
OK so here are more dates!
March 18 The Beach house is having a winter surf movie night and it will be held at the Bay Head Fire house at 7pm.
I will be spinning classic surf tunes and reggae to help folks shake the winter blues.
  Harpoon Willys will also be providing great food.
    April 23 I will be spinning at earth day at river view Park!
That starts at noon and the rain date is sunday

The Davy Jones day fair will be returning to BHS this year and I will be DJing. My friend James Dalton will de playing for an hour also! Date and times to follow soon.

yesterday I notice the daffodils

are starting to come back and then later I saw a wonderful sunset!

 today I got 2 nice shots of mallards

ah yes and then there a beautiful pot of flowers!

Sooon I hope to take my camera to get fixed to get rid of that spot that appears after my camera fell off my desk!
