A day of Swans

So I'm stting here listening to the Manavishnu Orchestra and thinking wow it has been a minute since I've made a Blog.

Yesterday I look a bike ride around Bay Head and Point Pleasant Beach.

Get a snack out a beverage of choice this could be a Long one.

So I went to Burke's Market ( formally Central Market) and got a BLT sandwich and a Pepsi and went by Twilight lake to eat it.

After Lunch I got back on my bike to head to go into Point Pleasant Beach to check out the fishing boats. I did a GoPro video of my bikeride which I''ll post later. Here are the photos of the Boats.

Working and maintaining these boats is no easy task I'm sure!

    On the way Home I stopped at Lake of the Lillies and if I didn't get a good swan fix at lunch I got a real fix here. I've neve seems so many swans in one place like this. THIS made my day!

One thing I can say about all this free time is I have a lot of time to sit around and listen to music without feeling guilty that I should be doing something else. Another thing is that I realize I'm not quite ready for retirement yet.

Beach Time 2020

Each year about this time I start thinking about a summer mix. With all this free time now my creative engine has been like a dog freed from its leash. This 2 disc mix is a combination of old surf rock,dub,reggae and ska!

Yeah I added a sprinklre of Classic rock with ELO and the beach Boys and oh yes whats a goos summer mix without Jimmy Buffett?

On this disc I ask myself what are some of MY fave tunes that say its summer to me? Many of these will have you dancing in the sand! Enjoy!

During this Pandemic I have been listening to some of my CDs. Its a eclectic batch! I'll even post some of my mix CDs!

The fun thing about listening to the old mixes is wondering who or what inspired the track list. Flash back attack was made on the old computer with a different printing program! I liked it! depending on which design I though sometimes I used up alot of ink but it looked cool!
