A Thankful DJ!

Last year at this time I only was 1 gig in the fall.After Hurrican Sandy I tried to get gig for benefits but no luch.I only had I gig at public works to boost the moral of the folks working there plus the police,National Guard and whoever else came by.Don't get me wrong that was a cool gig.
This fall however things changed. From the end of September till now Ive been working every other weekend and I'll be djing my first class reunion of a friends 25 year class reunion at the end of the month.
Thank you to my Roadies Sheryl and Dave, George and Beth,and Chip and Joyce!You guys are awesomeAlso Thank you to Dan.
To those who who enlisted my DJ services also get a BIG thank you.

August 16th I will be playing at the Beach House Surf Movie night.The fun starts at 7pm at the beach House classic Boardshop in Bay Head NJ!
    Saturday is the big one of the summer!

DJ Trish update July 13 2013

Hello DJ Trish fans
I am Happy to announce I will br Play at The Beach House Movie night
July 20th at 7pm\

I also will be playing August 17th at the Bay Head fire Company Clambake along with the Sherman Brothers Band
the fun will start at 12 noon.
There will also be a 50/50 and fire truck rides!

A good day at the fair

Today was a good day despite the slight overcast!I received lots of positive feedback on the music and someone even asked if I had a card.Might I get another gig from the day?Perhaps!
Next week I'' be at the Bay head firehouse at 10am helping to celebrate the comeback of Bay Head.
 Days after Hurricane Sandy hit I was in a Hotel room in Baltimore seeing our Jersey shoreline almost underwater!I was so sad,so worries
who was alive?It seemed like weeks till I know all my friends were OK.
Now I will be helping to celebrate our return to normalcy.There are still folks whos homes and businesses need work but Bay Head is bouncing back!
Im grateful to be a part of the celebrartion.
I love Bay Head and everyone in it!

memorial day 2013

I stopped at Muellers Bakery this morning to get a cup of coffee and a crumcake.This is the first time Muellers has been upon since before Hurricane sandy hit.The whole shore is redone and looks great.On the way out I heard a familiar voice calling me,It was my old friend Ellen Parker.
we sat on a bench out side and chatted while enjoying out coffee and crumbcake.
 Afterwards we went to visit her parents who live a block away.
 afterwards I took a bikeride ,picked up a few CDs and took some pictures in my travels!
I'll talk about the CD pickups in my next blog!

today I finally went to Bay Head beach to see what I could see.On mount street the was a house split in two.Afterwards I went to Chadwick street aka the Bluffs.to my surprise some of the fence with I was sure would be totaled was still standing!The house to the left pretty much lost their trees and shubery but the house itself looked OK.There was a dumpster in the driveway so Im sure there were item destroyed by the water! The Zuvers ols house mostly got damage to the roof and the porch railing but its set back so I dont think there was much more damage beyond that.Im sure it too took on some water in some areas. its so sad to see things the way they are but I hope by Springs major cleanups and repair will be under way!I predict roads will need to be torn up and drainage systems replaced.more traffic nightmares for the BHPD and Public works! There was a FEMA Truck right next to the firehouse and an army truck in the firetruck bay!I hope the Fire company will get much needed funds to get back on track and to help other get back on track! I lived in Bay Head for 30 years and although I'm in the Boro now I still consider Bay Head my town and in a way it still is.I work there and have many friends there!

community service

Today I Deejayed for a great bunch of folks at Public works.I felt good to gift of the spirits of folks who are working hard to help those who need it. Im seriosly thinking of going there tomorrow to lend a hand myself.I still consider Bay Head my home town being I spent 30 years of my life there and most of my friends are there.I want to give back to the town that has been so great to me.Not because I have to but because I want to!Call it being led but the Lord if you will!I have some time off from the school but I don't want to sit on my butt and be lazy I want to help out in some way.
