Tonight I spun a new CD I bought from Amazon!
Years ago I was looking for Quiet Village by Martin Denny and discovered this series!
   This is filled with jazzy versions of TV themes.
a few are cheesy and most of them are well done! Many reminded me of the kind of music my dad enjoyed! This is perfect for playing cocktail hour or after a busy day.
Perhaps I'll spin this at dinner time at next years fireman's dinner!

Forever at the Beach

Hi Guys well its seems this blog get the most views so I'll return to posting my mixes here along with everything else.
OK so here's my new mix.
I saw a pictures of a boardwalk bunch with Forever at the beach inscribed on it and thought theres a cool title for a mix.
As many of you know lately I've been deep into world music.
On the next mix I plan to return to more of my Rockin roots!

Lately I haven't had the time or finances to really go digging and all the darn snow didn't help but I've rediscovered so many gems already in my collection. This compilation is full of greats from Billy May, Dean Martin and Martin Denny just to name a few. The cover itself it awesome too!

Another compilation full of great music.
This is a great compilation of awesome jazz. If you see this in vinyl or CD I highly recommend you pick this up if your into jazz or just curios about it!
