A gem in the archives

I was going through a pile of CD s in the stereo cabinet in the den and sound this!

My dad Loved my mixes and when I upgraded from cassettes to CDs he was one of the first one I made mixes for other than myself.

This reason its hand written is because I didn't have a printer yet.

No Black Friday madness here!

I heard of the black Friday Madness on some malls around the country. I didn't shop at any malls I guess that's why huh?
 What I did see is folks working together at local shops to put up Christmas Decorations, and even some homes are decorated already!

I stopped at the Beach House Surf shop and they have a beautiful window display!

even the new art Gallery in town is blinged up!

After making the rounds a photographer and shopper tend to get thirsty so it was time to stop at Muellers Bakery and get an ice tea. but not just any iced tea..

This ice Tea is made my a Point Pleasant resident and its great!

 so that friends was my Black Friday!

its getting colder but the beauty of a cold winter day is at the end of the day. A Beautiful sunset!

Kofi a decent Christmas CD

Yesterday I stooped in at Ocean County music and bought 3 CDs This was a blind buy.
A blind buy is buying something you are unfamiliar with buy get it based on the looks of the cover,recommendation of the Genre of music you like.
In this case it was the words Reggae Christmas that caught my eye.
The Little Drummer Boy starts out kind of sounds like dancehall but the rest of the album is good.
I give this 4.5 stars.

theres still good people in the world

The mainstream media is full of doom and gloom. 8 out of 10 news stories are bad and negative. There are still good people in the world. There are still good things happening.
its hard to think positive and hope for the best but you can make a positive impact if you try.
 Be a light in the darkness!

a very Beautiful Monday in November!

Upon arriving home from work today I had a mental list of things I wanted to do.
I usually jump on my computer when I get home but not today.
I got changed, hopped on the bike and off I went.
I was in the mood for a Tuna fish sub so first stop was Mon Alyssa's! oh yeah!
I paid a quick visit to the guys at public works. Chip was thumbing through his briefcase looking for some paperwork he needed for a meeting tomorrow. He found it.
We chatted for a few minutes and then I left so they could lock up for the day.
Next stop was to drop off 2 Christmas mixes to a friend of mine.
Next up was a trip to the beach. The water was calm and it was low tide.There were some fisherman on the jettys and a nice number of boats out!
Thanksgiving is a week from this Thursday.Iwas in need of CDrs so I stopped at Walgreens were I know they have to Maxell 50 pack! Its time to get busy making Christmas mixes!
