New Tunes
here are two new CDs I got for Christmas! The Jefferson Starship CD I had on vinyl many years ago and the barefoot man CD is a new release.
I listened to the barefoot man CD once and enjoyed it but I want to listen to it again to give it a good review!

dig these cracy tunes
First up music review
I first heard about Afro Bop Alliance reviewed on youtube and a small sample was played and I liked what I heard so I wrote down the name of the Band and searched for it on the library wedsite and they had it!
Afro Bop Alliance is jazz with a Latin flavor. There are tracks to sit down and relax after a busy day and others that will get you dancing.
Next up is Life is a Dance. its my latest mix filled with world music oldies, dance grooves and a sprinkle of country!

2014 Year in Review
@014 has been a quite a year. Mostly good and some sad
but first the good
I made a few more friends and have a few new CD mix/DJ Trish fans.
I have almost 400 subscribers on my youtube channel
www.youtube/user/djtrishm
Check it out
I had a good year on the beach and most of my regular patrons returned and so did most of my regular coworkers.
This has been the year of renovations.
My kitchen and upstairs bathroom were redone and just when I thought the end was near I discover if leak it my den ceiling. Go effing figure!
BHS is getting a new gym and construction will start soon.
The DJ biz went well except for a brief setback that is now resolved. Thank you God, Chip and Amazon. In that order too!
In Early November my sisters dog Bayou crossed the rainbow bridge and soon after that My friend Joan Sherman was given that much longer to live. She entered the gates of heaven last week.
Frank Alechko was so nice to take me to her service!
well that wraps up this end of the year report.
stay tunes for more blogs and pictures
Have A very Merry Christmas and a Happy and healthy new year!
Peace Love and music

Dec Thoughts and Ideas
So Far this years Christmas mix is getting nice reviews! I have enough music to make a new mix but I want to focus on Getting my Christmas mixes out first.
today was the first snow of the season. luckily it was a light snow but it was enough for me to postpone a trip to the post office to mail out Christmas mixes for the cousins.
Perhaps by the end of the week.
I dare not say tomorrow because we are supposed to get heavy winds and rain. There's also a chance of coastal flooding.
In my hurry to get out to clear the car of snow I forgot the bag of CDs I need to take back to the library!
I didn't however get to work safe and sound and yes on time. Frank informed me that my friend Joan Sherman isn't expected to live much longer and they reserves the firehouse for her wake and he offered to take me there. We were discussing life, death and the fact that we are saved and we know where we are going. I sometimes call him Reverend because he has so much faith and knowledge and is a real man of God and lifts he up and encourages me! He's my big brother and I adopted him in my heart! I call chip my younger brother.
I am blessed with many awesome friends!

a nice weekend
OK weatherwise it stunk but that didn't ruin it for me.
Friday at work the Kids were Making Ornaments for our Giving Tree!
I volunteered to take pictures.
One of my coworkers asked me are and a photographer and a DJ?
I answered Yes I am!
Today I deejayed at the Santa Breakfast at the Bay Head firehouse. It felt good to be behind the deck again! after the technical failure at the firemans dinners I though I was done!
I was a few kids doing some boppin around. That made me feel good.
The adults just want to socialide but as Bryan Adams would say the Kids wanna Rock!
As Things were winding down I saw many of the kids breaking down tables ,Folding chairs and sweeping! That' Rocks!
