returning the Favor

there are many people who do things for us and many don't realize or appreciate the good people in their lives.
My parents taught me to always try to return the kindness of others no matter how small a gesture it may be.
  For example my friends Chip and Joyce do many nice things for me,and there's no way I can repay them in full. but I do little thing like buy them drinks ,coffee or a gift card to a local bar or Restaurant for Christmas and as Little as it may seem to me it might be more appreciated by them then I think .
  A while back I opened the door for someone and it turned out they had a cane and as little as I thought that act of kindness was they really did appreciate it and it meant they didn't have to stop and struggle to open the door. Little things do mean a lot.

RANT ALERT RANT ALERT

Ok so little bit of politics here.

Today I did this little rant on my facebook page about how we are letting Syrians in. like 10,000 of them ok.

I'm all for helpings folks out if they are fleeing a dangerous place.

However Syria is probably one of the biggest host of terrorist out there. There are folks who will disguised as innocent folks but are really aiming to do us harm that can slip through background checks.

  2nd We have folks here in this country who are homeless due to Tornadoes and Hurricanes who are STILL without help.

We Have Veterans who have trouble getting help. Shouldn't we have our own first.

Heck perhaps I'm wrong.

tonight I went on zenrunning orders facebook page and although it supposed to be about music people are slowly invading it with politics!Now if someone asked me to keep my blogspot politics free i would say OK! We think that if we rant and rave over politics things will change.The only way to change things is by VOTING THIS NOVEMBER!enough said.

Newt Verses Barack

OK I say I don't like talking politics but I gotta get this out.If it came down to a Barack Versus Gingrich vote I'd vote for Barack!He seems nicer,he's not afraid to cut loose in this speeches.You can tell by the way he looks at Michelle and his kids hes a happy loving father and husband. I saw the debate with Gingrich and he went nuts when the other guy brought up with past marriage issues.What does he think once he got nominated it would all go away?OK I'm willing to forgive his past but the American people DO NOT need another Monicagate.We don't want our president running around having sex with his interns and then denying the whole thing and then admitting it days before he leaves office. We need someone who is straight up and honest with us.A man who's not afraid of answering tough questions or face tough issues. Some folks thing Obama took the credit for the Killing of Bin Laden but he Clearly stated the our Navy Seals were the heroes and he gave the order for them to carry out the mission. Gingrich seems to get to angry about his personal life and issues he doesn't agree with.We don't need a hot tempered president.We need someone who is calm under pressure and can take the heat. Go Obama!

Oh yeah and Newt..your no Ronald Reagan!

another evil man gone!

at lunch time I saw the news on the boiler room TV that Moamor Khadafi was killed!Libyans seemed to be cheering in the backround waving the Libyan flag like we were waving our flag when Bin Laden was killed.
2 big fishes,evil fishes killed in one year!The world is a little safer now and hopefully it sents a message to other terrorists to stop their evil ways.
Peace is the better route to go.
The politcal debates are starting and the mud slinging will get heavy real soon and the campain signs are popping up on lawns like Dandilions.
oh sugar honey ice tea here we go!

whos really at fault

I hear people blaming Obama for the nations problems.He may be the president but hes not Harry Potter.
Lets start off with health
OK we are being forced to beleive that homosexuality and gay Marriage is OK and normal and should be accepted as such.
Aids is still out there!HIV and other STDs are still rampid.Teenage pregnancy is still around!Premarantal and extramarital sex is still happening.Obama can't stop it it.Congress can't stop it.Not even the armed forces can stop it.
Many folks are living beyond their means and then they want the Banks and the government to come bail them out so they can start all over again.
WE the people are our own enemy.we screw around,sleep around ,get high,etc and blame it on the world when we are the ones to blame.
Before we go fixing the problems of the rest of the world we gotta as Nat King Cole would say Straighten and fly right ourselves.
I remember years ago hearing about addicts getting clean needles to prevent aids.If you give an addict a clean needle he will keep using drugs.
the money that was used to make those needles could go towards getting addicts off drugs and into a rehab.
Heres another idea.Instead of taking hard working people out of a job to do jury duty they should have folks who are NOT working IN jury duty.
More money should go toward vo-tech schools where Kids do go to learn a skill and find out what they want to do with they're life and find an honest job.
OK just a few ideas running threw my head and a few opinions.

useless pointless crap

The summer after my Dad passed away I made it a point to stay away from politics during the summer.
I've made a vow to stay away from politics in the summer so I can enjoy the summer.There used to be a show called topic A on WOBM.People would call in yelling about various Politics and Politicians.How is it changing things?
The other night I was watching "Basketball wives" on VH1.All they do on the show is argue about who said what about whatever.Perhaps reality shows should have their own network so MTV and VH1 can return to their Original mission.Music Videos.
Reality show are useles pointless crap anyway!OK with the exception of Nature and rahab shows.
Reality shows I DO like
1 Dog the Bounty Hunter
2 Celebrity rehab with Dr Drew
3 Storage Wars
4 Billy The exterminator

These shows are educational and entertaining at the same time.The rest of em?Forgettabout it!

Priorities

This is my opinion and just that my opinion
Last year All we heard on the news is how broke New Jersey was.We had to cut Teachers,State workers and even out emergency services.
During the swine flew crises though there was some money to make 8X10 glossy posters with a doctors picture on the front instructing you how to lessen or prevent the risk of getting the swine flu.Hundreds of these were posted in school hallways,restaurants and other public places.
Where did the money for that come from?
we Moan and groan about the state of the state,or country or world but are our Priorities messed up?If you want your kids to have a good education shouldn't they have good teachers?
If you want a safe town,city and state shouldn't you have good dedicated police officers?
Our Public workers are vital too!they are the guys who plow out roads at 11pm at night after a day of snow,etc
OK I feel better now!

Giving Obama a thumbs up!

My Repblican Father and Uncleare likely to chastize me for this when we meet up in heaven but here it goes!
The handling of recent events by President Obama gets a thumbs up from me.Hes right NOT to show us pics of a dead OBL.
Showing such pics would only put fuel on the fire of hatred in the Taliban.
Lets also remember Bin Laden not only commited acts of terrorism in the US but in Africa,Spain,England and Afganistan.
Im sure folks in other parts of the world are quietly breathing a sigh of releif Bin laden has been eliminated but dare not so so publicaly for fears of more terrorists acts on their country.
Perhaps now we can try to extand the olive branch of peace to the muslim world and eliminate hatred.I hope a new era of peace and healing can begin.

So now that we Know our president is a US citizen we can get on to the next issue.Is Trumps hair real or a wig?
I mean realy do you think if Obama wasnt a citizen he would get this far?I wasnt a big fan in the beginning but was was won over with this inaugural speech!You can tell he and Michelle really love each other.
Perhaps The Donald better clean up Atlantic city BEFORE he thinks about a whole country.Theres still a homes population not far from those big glittery Buildings.
Mr Barack is making progress.Lets give him that!
On another note Bay head and Point Pleasants schools budgets passed.Our kids will continue to be eduacated by caring dedicated teachers!

Muborak has finally quit!The People of Egypt can start anew!Much speculation of will it get worse befor it gets better.
When I hear about stuff like this from around the world It reminds me of how nice we have it here in the U.S.
Sure we have our troubles but nothing like stuff otherseas.We can sleep at night knowing the military isn't going to force our kids into service at age 13.They can play in the fields knowing they wont step on a landmine,etc.
We are so blessed here in America and still we complain its not perfect.Be greatful for your family and friends.Be greatful for your job,car and that roof over your head.Be greatful for your sight,hearing and ability to get up each day.

Today i saw a newsclip that started out saying Genral Mc Chrystal resigned his post and by the end of it it said he was fired.OK he talked to Rolling Stone..why?
yeaH now theres a good choice...lol!
an old teacher once said"That which is in your head doesn't always have to come out of your mouth'how many times has that motto saved me from getting in BIG trouble?hundreds of times!
I've learned over the years that folks WILL blame others for they're actions and NOT have the balls to admit they themselves were at fault.this is called the blame game.Instead of admitting YOU screwed up you blame it on someone else.That someone usually is a loyal person busting they're arss to do what needs to be done without questioning OR understanding.they just do it,trusting the person who told them to do it.yup yup yup..I KNOW!!!!!
