2013
what a year
it seems like last year at this time I was wondering if we would ever recover from Hurricane Sandy. There was so music destruction.
I am happy to say many businesses , homes schools and Churches are making a nice comeback.
This was also a good year of DJ gigs for me.
Although its not in my profile next to my love of music is photography. You probably figured that out, right?
I got my first camera when I was 12 years old.It was a polaroid.Does anyone remember the smell of the film when it was appearing when your peeled the top layer off?I loved that smell.then as the picture came into view you waited to see how good it came out?
The camera after that was a Kodak instamatic.
I still have an old photo album with some pictures in it.
\OK well super fast forward heres a few recent pictures..with stories
A glass angel figurine!
Paper snowflakes in the window of Muellars Bakery
The empty lot where the shoppers Wharf once stood.
Surfing Santa hangin' 10 at the Beach House classic boardshop!
Happy little creatures watch you dance. they are keeping an eye on a mix I made for a friend!

I'm donating my DJ services for a good cause and good heroes. The Bay Head Fire company saved many lived during and after Sandy hit.Im proud to call them my friends!

with my own eyes
today I finally went to Bay Head beach to see what I could see.On mount street the was a house split in two.Afterwards I went to Chadwick street aka the Bluffs.to my surprise some of the fence with I was sure would be totaled was still standing! The house to the left pretty much lost their trees and shubery but the house itself looked OK.There was a dumpster in the driveway so Im sure there were item destroyed by the water!
The Zuvers ols house mostly got damage to the roof and the porch railing but its set back so I dont think there was much more damage beyond that.Im sure it too took on some water in some areas.
its so sad to see things the way they are but I hope by Springs major cleanups and repair will be under way!I predict roads will need to be torn up and drainage systems replaced.more traffic nightmares for the BHPD and Public works!
There was a FEMA Truck right next to the firehouse and an army truck in the firetruck bay!I hope the Fire company will get much needed funds to get back on track and to help other get back on track!
I lived in Bay Head for 30 years and although I'm in the Boro now I still consider Bay Head my town and in a way it still is.I work there and have many friends there!

the year in review 2012
2012 what a year!
I am now a woman of the 21st century.I have a digital camera. Now that I have one why did I hold out so long on getting one?
I am also of member youtube.I joined this little group called the vinyl community.OK we are growing.Although i only collect CDs they accepted me and many others like me because its all about the music, man!
I've even learned to make slide showed and post them on Youtube.
OK so does this make me a geek?
2012 started out to be a nice year but its not ending that way
Hurricane Sandy hit us with a serious punch.the flooding destroyed both my car and Nancys van.Luckily she was able to get new wheels a few weeks later after renting one.
Atomic CDs is closing shop.Eric says he has been thinking about it for awhile.I bought a few CDs today and stayed under my self imposed $20.00 limit!I celebrated my self control with a coffee and blueberry muffin at the Green Planet Coffee House being Rock N Joe's is also a victim of hurricane Sandy.
The business district of Point Pleasant Beach escaped pretty much unharmed from what I've Heard.
Another sad note.My uncle Jimm died in Mid October!I will miss you Uncle Jim!OK now to upload a few photos!
Lets all hope and pray 2013 is much better!
