goodbye summer,hello school year

As crazy as the weather was this summer I dint destroy my "working vacation" as I call it. I wish I had gotten together with a few folks but I hope to catch up with them in the fall.No earthquakes and no hurricanes but too many thunder storms for my liking.They did insure we didn't have a drought though.Oh those green head flies and mosquito's got me good this summer.OUCH! I wasn't as busy As I thought I would be with DJ gigs this summer but I did enjoy the ones I did have.Special thanks to the Beach House,The Longboard Grill and The Bay Head Fire company for giving me the opportunity to entertain you! Thank you to my road crew Chip,Eric and Daryl and Jamie! The summer with the BHIA was cool too!Thank you to all the bosses and fellow staffers! And so a new year at BHS begins.Go Sharks!

A Day In Pictures

Its been a while since I did a written blog.I've been posting Pictures and videos but its been some time since I just sat down and wrote! Judging from the amount of folks who have viewed my blog Not too many of you miss me. Perhaps my pictures and videos are boring and you prefer the written word? OK well Once again I will be DJing at earthday this year at the Riverview park along with the Sherman Brothers and another band I don't know who.I also will be joining forces with the Sherman Brothers again at the 2012 clam bake at the BHFC,I also hope to spin at the Beach house and the longboard grill this summer!I hope for more but I'll be thankful for the gigs I do get. Next week is Spring Break.I plan to charge up the ipod and get in some power walks.I finally got to the eye doctor and do need new glasses.Bifocals.Dayam Im getting old but I course reading small print is not getting easier. I gotta keep telling myself but to do what I do and hope folks are blessed by it.OK enough about age and health. Im making friends on my youtube channel and send out some mixes to a few folks. I have a few more friends on facebook too including my bosses Son! oh man. I really gotta watch what I say! Alrighty well thats all for now! Have a blessed Easter everyone! This morning I woke up late.As I was sitting on the edge of my bed mentally planning my day the phone rang.It was Darryl from The Longboard grill asking me If I wanted to spin some tunes tonight at his place.Naturally I said yes! The Remax Realtors had a Christmas party there.Wow what a fun bunch! If you think Realtor are a bunch of yuppies who are full of themselves and don't know how to have a good time,this bunch will prove you wrong. They even want to do it again next year! I also saw my Rockin Joes group today.Wow had a few laughs and coffee too! Thank you to Darryl and the longboard gang for another great night of DJing fun!

a night of Good music and food

Last nights gig at The Longboard Grill went well.A soccer team came to eat there and they were a well behaved group of Id say 10-12 year old girls.I played some Christmas hits,reggae and some upbeat stuff the kids would like and some oldies and jazz.I gave a few shout outs to the Darryl and the crew.Everyone loved it.
Kudos to my supreme Roadie Chip.I got him a 6 pack of Long Trail ale.His Favorite!
Tonight was Shanes 10Th birthday.Its also Matt and Carol 46Th Anniversary.
Tomorrow weather permitting I hope to Deliver a few more Christmas mixes and mail out more this week.
I am sad to report the The Grind coffee house is closing their doors.Debbie was also so nice but business isn't good for her.
Friday is Bay Heads Christmas walk!I plan to go!Last year I had a bad head cold and missed it.
I got 2 awesome mixes in the Mail today.One was a Christmas mix for my friend Robert song from the Zenrunningorder fame and also one non Christmas mix from Al Telstar as he is known as on zenrunning order.
My Creative engines have been running hot lately and I cranked out a few mixes in the past 2 weeks.Track lists to be posted soon.

Im working on Christmas mixes.Some went out already.The fine folks at the longboard grill got some.I also save a few to my friends at Gerards where I get my wine and Vasuvios where I get a ham and cheese sub once in while.
