Spring is close very close
for the first time in months my poor toes are freezing and I wore a lighter jacket today!
we may get a little snow tomorrow night or Thursday. I'm hoping it will be just a little bit. heck it is march by the way.
I finally did some shopping Saturday. Ink cartridges, CD-Rs, and CDs! I saw a few friends in my travels too! I'm cured of my cabin fever. Now m allergies are acting up but Allergies are OK!
Tonight I got on the OCL website again and put more CDs on hold. Heavy on the R& B from the 70s and 80s.The next mix will be funktified!
So I was talking to Franks substitute about church and that just going to church alone doesn't make you a good Christian.Many folks think this.
OK I'm all for going to church and getting spiritually fed and so on BUT that alone doesn't make you a good Christian.
Take the lessons you learn in church and live them,apply them to your life! its not always easy and there will be temptation to forget but do your best each day.
If your curse or get angry confess it to God above. When your have a good day thank him! If your having struggles ask him for help. Church is a great place.it renews you and helps you face the week ahead but theres much more to being a Christian then going to church. People will see your Christianity by the way you act outside of church.
A friend once told me "you'll be blessed by your integrity. Wow I never thought of that. doing the right thing pleases God.

Flashback attack
Today a few teachers asked me if we had paper.Alica put in the order 2 days ago and it wasn't there yet we used to order it from Bordens but now order it from Staples for savings.
Our basic skills teacher Diane and I have been there the longest.I said to her remember when we used to get 20 cases and they would last all year?Yep she said.
Back in the late 80s when I started in the office We ordered our supplies from a company called Hammett
We would Order Paper for the whole year.20 cases of Paper went into the bioler room and it pretty much lasted all year.
Shortly after working in the office Jill got an Apple IIe computer.It came with floppy discs.She still used her Big Corona Selectric typewriter too that was about 50 pounds.
Her Monitor of the apple IIe was about 13 inches.One day when our boss was out and things were slow she opened up a blank page and told me to write someone a letter.I didnt know anything about computers."What if I hit the wrong button and delete everything".I asked her.Nope it wont happen go just type a letter.She relplied.Reluctantly I did.I think I typed my aunt Joan a letter.When she came back from lunch she told me how to correct type ohs.This was before we got hooked up to the internet.that happened 10 years later.
Our paper order came right after lunch,right as I snuck into the boiler room for a quick cup of coffee.I filled the printers,fax Machine and copier much my fellow staff members delight.
Today after work I delivered 5 Christmas mixes to All saints Church.A little contribution to their Christmas bizzare.The garage door wouldnt open all the way so instead of risking breaking the garage and MY BACK I decided to walk.Sheila was sitting in the newly renovated office.She showed me around.Its looks great.The pastors office has a view of scow ditch.
She said last years the christmas mixes were a hit.A few days ago I reworked the playlist and renamed it a joyful Christmas.I think they'll like a swingy Jazzy Christmas though.
After Sheila got done with some paper work and a phone call she drove me home.She gave me a few brownies saying that I already walked off the calories so enjoy.
Now its time for a brownie and a cup of Tea!Mmm.Chocolate!

Oh the decision
Tonight was a fun night at Music and movie night.
any fun request and a little Dancing I saw.Folks had fun!The night was Sponsored the The Christian surfers of Manasquan.We watched a Movie Called Walking On water.It was fun and there were parts the tugged at my heart.
It got me to thinking how I really need to get back to church.Id like to go to Sacret heart because that is my church but it makes me sad because I always went with mom or dad and ever since dad died I can't go alone without getting teary just a tad.I do go to my friends Tyler and Joans church which is first baptist and they love seeing me there and I don't get teary.
Oh what should I do?Tough it out and go to sacred heart and try to be strong or go to first baptist where Im better emotionally?
